Sammie is only little sweet ball of energy! He is friendly and fun and looking for his forever family! Even though he is pretty energetic, he is always down for a nap by your side. Sammie did okay meeting another dog here at the shelter but was not really interested in them and was more interested in doing his own thing. We recommend children over 5 years old because he can get a little tense when it comes to his food, but he has not shown any aggression. Sammie is a required foster-to-adopt because he has a pelvic fracture that requires cage rest for recovery. His family MUST follow the vet's instructions, although he would enjoy recovering in a home environment instead of the shelter. His recheck x-rays will be scheduled the week of Sept 3.
